I'm in a ramblin' mood... I have a 34 yr old friend named Mel--mother of 5--who is in the hospital slowly coming to the brink of paralysis and so far her condition is a medical mystery. No one can figure out what's wrong. It started with her legs--which thankfully she still can use on a limited basis--and now it's creeping to her arms. Some days for her are better than others. Her spirits are up though so that's a good thing. As of today, her health is getting slightly better.

Voting takes up roughly 15 minutes of your time every 4 years.

Annapolis was unusually active with police officers on Friday. There wasn't a single busy street in the downtown area without at least one cop on foot patrol or a cruiser passing you by every few minutes. In the last few months, the APD has boosted its presence around town to combat the growing crime problem throughout the city.
